M-F, 6:30 am – 3:30 pm

AHA BLS req

Rad/CT Registry preferred, but not req. 

Uses medical imaging equipment to produce images of a body part, taken from different angles and by computer produces cross sectional images.

Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional

Explaining what will happen during the Rad/CT scan to patients

Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images

Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging

Examining images to ensure they’re usable

Updating patient medical information

Cleaning and maintaining Rad/CT scan equipment

Keeping inventory of Rad/CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
