Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Family Practice Support

Location: Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin

Start Date: December

Assignment Length: Minimum 13 weeks, with potential for extension depending on staffing needs

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced RNs to support two family practice providers, serving patients from newborns to geriatrics. The RN will be the sole support for a busy clinic environment, assisting providers in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. A background with Indian Health Service (IHS) and Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) services is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a family practice setting, supporting providers with a wide patient age range
• Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and follow-up
• Maintain compliance with clinic standards and protocols
• Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity in a diverse patient population

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Requirements:

• Active RN license (any state)
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Previous experience in family practice or similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of IHS and PRC services is a strong plus

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay: $2,846 (includes $40/hr base pay + $1,246 weekly per diem)
