Urgent Care Physician - $170 Hr. (All-Inclusive)

Location: Cass Lake, Minnesota

Setting: Same Day Outpatient Clinic inside of the Hospital

Patient Type(s): All Ages

Period of Performance: (As soon as cleared) – 3 month assignment

Certifications:

• Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification – Current through contracted terms of employment.
• ACLS, BLS – Current through contracted terms of employment.

License/Registration:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
• Type: FP/IM
• Any state license accepted.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years FP/UC

Shift Schedule:

• 8-Hour Shift / Monday – Friday / 8a-5p - 30 minute lunch
• No Call
• Overtime/Extended Shift: No Overtime per contracted terms of agreement.

Support Details:

• Patients per day: 8 to 10
• Coverage: Single
• Same Day clinic has RN’s and APC’s

• Airport: Minneapolis Saint-Paul International Airport, 3+ hours to Cass Lake
• Bemidji Regional Airport (15 minutes to Cass Lake)

Other Details:

• No procedures
• Walk in outpatient clinic only

The Cass Lake Indian Health Service Unit is owned and operated by the Federal Government as a Public Health Service, Indian Health Service Facility. The Service Unit has an active user population of 12,000 clients and provides over 200 full-time jobs in the community. The Service Unit operates a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) and Outpatient Ambulatory Care Clinic that offers Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Physical Therapy, Audiology, Podiatry, and Optometry Services. Cass Lake IHS also provides 24/7 access to Emergency Care services. The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe manages the Behavioral Health programs, Substance Abuse programs, a Diabetes Center and Public Health Nursing at six community based clinics on the reservation.
